Canadian Visit - June 23-27th, 2004
We were invited up to the Harlequin offices in Toronto to speak to the DTC group and for a brief respite at Brenda and Jim Chin's new cottage a couple hours NW of Toronto. We always have a great time with Harlequin and Brenda, but this visit outdid all the others combined. Here's a big wave to all the wonderful people we met and talked to and heartfelt thanks to Brenda Chin, Birgit Davis-Todd, Marsha Zinberg, Eleanor Elliot and the entire DTC group for, well, everything, but mostly for making us feel so welcome. We very much look forward to when our paths will cross again.

Striking a pose! Eddie, moi, Birgit, Brenda, Eleanor Elliot, and Marleah Stout and Katherine Orr of pr. (marvelous Maureen Stead ducked the camera, darn it, as did Jayne Jacek of eHarlequin.com!).

We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Herb's with Birgit and Brenda. I highly recommend the house Shiraz and the pork tenderloin!

Ah, yes. A photo album wouldn't be complete without a "oh just you wait, you are sooo going to pay for this," look from Brenda. LOL

Dinner at The Mandarin, a must stop for us every time we visit Toronto (it's nearly as popular as Tim Horton's!), with Brenda and her dh Jim. Pic a little blurry? Probably because we were feeling a bit blurry ourselves after all that food!
